Hi, I’m Kristen

Welcome, I am so glad you are here! I am a wife, a mom to three wonderful kids, and a teacher by trade.

Most of my days are spent driving to sports, volunteering at school or hosting friends in my home. Life is busy, but I’ve found that some of the best moments happen when you slow down, sit around a table, and connect.

That is exactly what mahjong has become for me, a place to gather with the people most important to me.

It’s more than just a game. It is something that brings people together, creates laughter, and turns into a shared experience. This is what inspired me to start Bird Bam Society.

I wanted to create a space where anyone can learn, have fun, feel like a part of something and walk away excited to play again.
